The service is available to researchers at UK institutions of higher or further education.

Becoming a member gives you secure, remote access to restricted data.

Members also receive the training and support necessary to use the data in order to maximise research outputs while protecting respondents' privacy.

We offer membership only to approved researchers who undertake a personal commitment to use our data securely. This is a two-way commitment that's upheld through a User Agreement and a shared Code of Practice.

If you're outside the UK but inside the EU, you may be eligible for onsite access under the EU-funded Data without Boundaries project.
