Entrust your data

Contact us to enable responsible use of your detailed data for high-quality research.
Our service is intended for data that cannot be made available for download under standard licensing UK Data Archive arrangements. Here's the Archive's spectrum of data access options - we provide the last two:
Public download - fully anonymised data can be downloaded without the need for users to register
Licensed download - anonymised data can be downloaded by registered users
Restricted licensed download - anonymised data can be downloaded by registered users who agree to special conditions, for example completing a Special Licence and getting approval from the data owner
Secure Remote Enclave - data are too detailed, confidential or sensitive to be downloaded and can only be accessed remotely*
Secure Onsite Enclave - data that are too detailed, confidential or sensitive to be accessed remotely and are made available in secure onsite rooms*
* to access data, a researcher is approved by you, the data owner (or nominee), and trained in person by Secure Data Service staff.
You may wish to consider making different versions of the same data available under different access arrangements.
